Looking back through Art History, Argentine painter Manuel Esnoz nods to Latin American Constructivist artists of the early twentieth century in his new body of work. It is easy to get lost in the intricate paintings contemplating what's true and what's false, the hidden forms, and seamlessly blended appropriation and abstraction. Direct influence from Joaquín Torres-García is one way that Manuel Esnoz travels across the river.
Manuel Esnoz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. This will be his eighth solo exhibition with the gallery.
