Like the computer-generated glow of an iPad, Manuel Esnoz’s well-worked surfaces have a luminous quality as if they are lit from behind. Esnoz has created a series of paintings beginning from a single point on the canvas, without a predetermined image or schematic. What follows are dynamic patterns of accidental order, veiled figures, and hidden architectural renderings. This will be Manuel Esnoz’s first exhibition in New York in almost 10 years, and his 7th solo exhibition at the gallery.
